Alcy is a private chef and student of life. She will feed you some cosmically delectable food and create a space where you just might learn something about yourself, too…
Meet Alcy Sivyer.
I was introduced to vegan cooking in the fast-paced environment of New York restaurants, where I was amazed to learn how creative and nourishing plant-based meals can be. After moving back to my hometown of Waukesha, I further immersed myself in the industry, practicing my craft and eventually cooking for my first retreat. This is where I found my calling.
Cooking for large groups requires more than just shopping, chopping, and setting the table. Food is personal, and there is a symbiotic relationship between a chef and those she serves. Knowing this, I foster a non-judgmental and welcoming environment to make sure retreat leaders and attendees feel seen and safe. Intimate retreat settings tend to bring up new discoveries in people, and sometimes these discoveries can be related to food. I rely on my intuition, warmth, and strength as a listener to guide people through these moments.
In my practice, I draw from my background in yoga and Reiki not only to mindfully create delicious meals made with love, but also to directly help people transform their relationship with food.
